Description
The IP-UVGA / IP-SVGA modules are low cost, IndustryPack compatible, high perfomance video controllers. These modules are a replacement for SBS' IP-SVGA module. They may be used for simple text displays, man-machine interfaces or high quality graphics in a variety of OEM applications.
Despite their small size (46 x 99 mm) the IP-UVGA / IP-SVGA modules deliver outstanding performance and the extensive software support available allows for easy integration into existing or new products. The bit-mapped display memory can be accessed directly by the host CPU at very high speeds using an advanced write buffer design. The modules feature a fully programmable oscillator which makes it possible to accomodate several dot clocks, resolutions and number of colours under software control. Careful hardware design guarantees optimal usage of the video processor's resources, whereas the on-chip BitBLT engine takes care of moving blocks of data over the screen at amazing speeds.
